A small group session of a maximum 3 people in class will allow you to get a high level of supervision and individual assistance so you make the most out of your hour long Pilates Matwork.
Classes are taught in deliberate pace to allow you to understand and connect to your body, establish core strength & stability for functional movement and learn the basic foundation exercises of the Pilates Method and it’s principles.
Our mat classes focus on strengthening the deep abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscle, improve posture and alignment, increase lung capacity and control, and improve co-ordination and balance. This class will help you to get the best results with your body, increase your fitness level, build muscle tone and improve flexibility.
A small group class will assist in easing general stiffness, aches and pains by mobilizing the body and helping to correct postural misalignment. In each session a variety of equipment including bands, balls, rollers, magic circle and other small props, are utilized to provide extra resistance / support and create a dynamic, fun and challenging workout!
